Patrols are missions to gather information, to conduct combat operations, or to establish a presence in an area of operation as part of a stability operation. The patrol advisor advises and supports the patrol leader but does not take over his responsibilities in any way. This stands for Recon, Ambush, Contact, Economy of Force, Security and Search and Attack. Number of messages the patrol may have to send back.
